Dreamy

There’ s something surreal about dreams. Dreams make you feel as though you’re running in molasses, and yelling in jell-o. They’re more about a state of mind, or an emotion, than an actual real fact-based action. Our wake-up state gives our dreams much more sense and clarity than they have. To me, dreams are all about our brains having fun flying within.

A dream is our subconscious flying on auto-pilot going for a joy ride, or a cruise-control journey of the soul.

This picture was taken shortly after the sunrise. The marine layer had not yet fully evaporated. The light is washed out by the morning’s misty air. Although the tree is hiding the sun, the rays are begging for attention.

This is something I walk by everyday. I also walk down my dock as the sun rises again and again. Yet, my phone is always in my hand ready to snap and capture another moment into my forever-after.

I hope to never get tired of taking pictures of everything and anything, even if it is part of my daily life.
